Wade Ginger is the hardest figure to get of them all. Made in the 1930's. These figures where prone to flaking and discoloring as the cellulose paint that was used at the time wasn't time wearing. They where cold painted without a hardened glaze. This was later changed to under the glaze which is the process used today. This figure has no damage at all (which is amazing as those arms are so fragile) she only had discoloring and flaking to the paint. To bring her back to her former glory and to save her for future generations she has been lovingly repainted and glazed by a professional cellulose worker. Now she looks like the day she was made even though she is nearly 80 years old. (I have a few friends who wish they could have the same done to them!) Ginger measures 240mm high by 200mm wide and is marked WADE GINGER with the leaping deer. Perfect Condition.
